Who will play Leah Clearwater?

The character of Leah Clearwater seems trival but in fact, she plays a key role in New Moon and the rest of the Twilight Series. Unfortunately, we have found out that Leah Clearwater will be excluded from New Moon. We feel that she is a key part to the movie, I hope that in the upcoming movies that they will find someone who fits her character.

I know we are all excited to know that Vanessa Hudgens WILL NOT be playing in the movie. She just doesn’t fit . . .

 

Vanessa Hudgens has NOT auditioned for New Moon, her rep tells JustJaredJr.com.

The 20-year-old singer/actress reportedly auditioned for the Twilight sequel for the role of werewolf Leah Clearwater.

“I don’t know anything about the audition,” Vanessa’s rep tells JJJ. “As far as I know, it’s just a rumor.”

Seems that Ashley Greene’s comment about Vanessa was taken way out of context because SpoilerTV is reporting that the character of Leah isn’t even being cast for!

UPDATE: New Moon screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg confirms this report, saying, “If Vanessa is auditioning for the role of Leah, she’s written her own pages to read, ’cause I didn’twrite ‘em.”
