Fanfiction Recommendation Friday!

First, before I get to all the usual things that come with FRF, I want to apologize for being MIA these past two weeks. The first time FRF was cancelled was because senior year was eating my shorts . . like I had no free time that Friday & I was exhausted at the end of the night. The second time FRF was cancelled was because I had to go to Ohio with my job; so yeah with limited internet connection & working I once again could NOT post. I’m sorry . . I truly am.

Forgive me (De) ? Of course you do, I’m your drug supplier. 😉

Now onto what you’ve all been waiting for; two weeks in the making. I have like a billion stories I thought about posting, so we should HOPEFULLY never have this problem again & if we do, I`ll come up with a better solution other than cancelling FRF entirely.

This story that I bring to you is very different from the ones that I’ve posted before; why is that you ask? Because it`s . . .(looks around) . . . a slash story.

Don’t look at me that way, this story is freaking awesome; don’t sleep on it.

Title: All I Ever Knew

Author: manyafandom

Featuring: Edward & Jasper

Story Type: Rated: M – English – Romance/Friendship – Slash

Status: In Progress

Summary: Jasper finds something he has been is looking for in the most unexpected place. Friendship and Fluff and Romance.

*lemons – sexy times

Reason I read & recommend it: Alright, alright, I know you’re looking at me for an explanation as to why I deviated from my Jasper-Jacob-Embry-Quil-loving norm. Well, I wanted something different & ever since I started reading Twilight fanfiction I have never stumbled across a good slash story . . not one. Either the ones I have come across over done or the characters are taken so far from their assigned personality that it leaves you saying “huh?” as you read. Not cool at all. BUT never fear manyafandom , has come to my rescue and yours if you’ve had the same problem. The way that she writes this story is  . . . definitely beyond words; I love how she explains Jasper’s thinking and Edward’s character is enough to make any girl swoon & maybe splooge ( oh wait, did I just say that?) even though he bats for the other team. 😀

I read this story simply for the depth of the characters and just how awesome the storyline is in general. So go on, let curiosity get the best of you & go read. I PROMISE you won’t regret it; I definitely didn’t.

Did I mention Edward has a tongue ring, nipple ring, & a strategically placed tattoo in this fic? Nope . . well I just did. I’m sure that compelled you.

Go read, shoo, shoo . . . let me know how you like it. I know you will. 🙂

Who Should Direct ‘Breaking Dawn’? Tim Burton!

Tim Burton digs supernatural stories: the goth-comic ghost tale of “Beetlejuice,” the headless killer from the great beyond in “Sleepy Hollow,” the undead love story of “Corpse Bride.” In a way, Burton knows vampires too, resurrecting Bela Lugosi — the definitive cinematic Count Dracula — in the Oscar-winning biopic “Ed Wood.”

All of this has made “New Moon” vampire Jamie Campbell Bower think that Burton should direct “Breaking Dawn,” the expected film adaptation of the final book in Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series.

“It’d be cool if Burton came and did ‘Breaking Dawn,’ ” Campbell Bower told MTV News of his “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” director. “I think he’d just change it up. I think he’d screw around with it quite a lot, and aesthetically, I think it’d be incredibly different. I don’t know if the fans would like it, but I’d sure like it.”

Unlike other blockbuster franchises, all three “Twilight” films have been helmed by different directors. Catherine Hardwicke oversaw the first one, Chris Weitz took over for “New Moon” and — following rumors about Drew Barrymore and Juan Antonio Bayona — David Slade was selected for“Eclipse,” which wrapped late last month. Though “Breaking Dawn” has not officially been announced, it’s all but certain to move toward production.

“Nothing is confirmed as of yet,” said Bower, who plays hot-tempered Volturi vampire Caius. “They’ve got some things to figure out.”

While Bower threw his support behind Burton, another name that has cropped up in discussions about the fourth book — which, it has been rumored, might be split into two movies — is Weitz.

“No official offer has been made,” the director said in October about directing “Breaking Dawn.” “The fans have been enthusiastic about the [‘New Moon’] footage and the trailer, and the studio responds to that by feeling good about me. We’ll have to see how people feel about the entire movie, not only the studio but the fans, before the verdict is out whether I direct # 4.”

Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed in Nylon

The holy Trinity of “Twilight” (Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner) aren’t the only“New Moon” stars heating up magazine pages this month. The sequel’s second couple, Rosalie Hale and Emmett Cullen (also known as Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz), posed for some fiercely fashionable shots in Nylon, dishing to the magazine about the Saga’s unexpected success, how “Twilight” has changed their lives (think: disguises!) and cast switcheroos.

“We were just making a little independent film in Portland,” Nikki said of the movie that changed her life. “I don’t know what happened. We’ve lived this entire year in shock.” But along with the Saga’s staggering success has come constant fan and paparazzi attention, something Kellan goes to great lengths to avoid.

“I used to love going to local high school football games near my house,” he told the mag. “And I can’t really go there anymore, without being wise.” And by wise he means, in disguise! Though he wouldn’t divulge his go-to get-up to Nylon (for obvious reasons) he did describe a now-failed costume. “I wanted to walk around Comic-Con this year, so I dressed kinda homeless. But someone recognized me and posted it online. I was like, ‘Thanks. Now I can’t wear that again.’”

Another consequence of the franchise’ popularity were some tough casting choices, including whether to keep Taylor in his break-out role as Bella’s bud Jacob Black. Both Nikki and Kellan couldn’t help but gush about the transformation the 17-year-old underwent to secure the role.

“He devoted himself to that transformation for a year,” Nikki recalled. “But it’s not even about how he looks—although he is gorgeous and sexy and shirtless for most of the film. He’s just so, so good as Jacob. And he can handle the pressure.” Kellan couldn’t agree more: “There was a concern about Taylor, as Jacob is bigger and stronger in the second book. But he hit the gym and gained 30 pounds of muscle. He looks amazing.” Coming from beefy Kellan, that’s quite the compliment indeed.

One actress producers did decide to replace was Rachelle Lefevre, who plays vamp Victoria. In a move deemed controversial by many Twilighters, Bryce Dallas Howard was cast in the part for the Saga’s third film “Eclipse.” Nikki says Bryce is flourishing in her new role. “Bryce is handling it like a champion,” she said. “She’s beautiful, talented, and a wonderful addition.”

Moviefone: Ask ‘New Moon’ Stars Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen & Jamie Campbell Bower a Question

Oh boy, have we got a treat for you, Twihards. When we asked for questions to use in our Unscripted interview with Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Chris Weitz, you guys went above and beyond with submissions. So Moviefone has decided to step it up a notch by throwing some Volturi in the mix.

In the saga’s sequel ‘New Moon,’ promising young actress Dakota Fanning will play deadly vamp Jane — a Volturi family guard with the power to inflict the illusion of excruciating pain. Any doubt that the once adorable Fanning could depict an evil bloodsucker vanished when she appeared pale and eerie-like in ‘New Moon’ images.

Jane uses her unique power to protect the honorable Volturi leader Aro. And who better to play the menacing luminary than veteran actor Michael Sheen. As bulldog journalist David Frost in ‘Frost/Nixon,’ Sheen brought Nixon down while his country watched, and in ‘New Moon’ he’ll threaten to destroy Bella in honor of the vampire legacy. Along his side will be Caius, played by youngin’ Jamie Campbell Bower, an ancient Volturi who is ready and willing to facilitate the demise of Edward Cullen’s mortal beloved.

Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen and Jamie Campbell Bower, aka the Volturi, will be visiting Moviefone for their own star on star chat using your questions. Ask the stars of ‘New Moon’ anything (in the comments section below; make sure to leave your name and hometown), then come back here Monday, November 23 to see if your question made the cut. Good luck!

Anna Kendrick Gives Us Her Mini-Review Of ‘New Moon’: ‘The Action Sequences Look Incredible’

She’s worked with the likes of Robert Pattinson and George Clooney and costars in the biggest film franchise since “Harry Potter.” And now we have one more reason to be jealous of “Twilight” starAnna Kendrick: She’s already seen “New Moon!”

“It’s very good. People are going to be very happy,” Jessica told MTV News, despite the fact that her character, Bella’s gossipy friend Jessica, figures less prominently in the sequel. “The difference for me personally between ‘Twilight’ and ‘New Moon’ was, I just wasn’t there for as much of filming ‘New Moon’ as I was for ‘Twilight.’

Anna’s absence, however, may have been a good thing since it allowed her to see much of the film with new eyes. “It was fun to see just tons and tons of stuff that I had forgotten was in the script,” she said. “And you know, these beautiful action sequences look incredible.

“I mean, people are always going to love the first one, but I think the second one is really great.” We have a feeling it’s going be great too, Anna.
